Dear ABWA Friends, It is amazing that 2008 is well on its way. It seems as though it was yesterday we were all celebrating our time together as we attended the 2007 ABWA National Women’s Leadership Conference in Greensboro, North Carolina. This was an AMAZING conference, one that left a lasting impression on me. I absorbed so much information while in attendance as well as celebrated with others in their triumphs of recognition. I commend the TEAM from ABWA National and Greensboro for a job well done. The 2007 – 2008 National Board of Directors is prepared and ready to serve you, our members, and the association as we move into the year with efforts of maintaining and/or working towards Best Practices. We are each committed to your success and we are here to assist you in making necessary steps in moving in the right direction. Become the change you want and work together to achieve that goal. I encourage you to move forward into this new year, boldly embracing both challenges and opportunities available to you and your ABWA group. With a determined spirit and strong voice, focus on creating an experience of purpose, satisfaction and fulfillment. Become the change you want and start today by registering for a spring conference, attend a monthly meeting, read your Women In Business magazine, and take advantage of the resources available to you to grow personally and professionally.
